We want to help you understand how event registrations work at GMI.  Click any question title below to expand the details.

How do I get a refund?
  • Please note that we do not provide refunds for reasons other than significant or unforeseen life events (such as a genuine emergency, sickness, critical work situation, etc.).

  • We will gladly issue a full refund (minus the 2.5% transaction fee taken automatically by our third-party payment processor) up to 10 days in advance of the start of the event.

  • Please note that if you cancel your registration with less than 10 days before the event, your registration fee is non-refundable.

  • To get started, you can start a new conversation with us, or send a reply email back to the confirmation email you received from GMI at the time of your registration.
How do I transfer my registration to another event?
  • Check to make sure a spot is available on the weekend/event you want to move to.

  • To get started, you can start a new conversation with us, or send a reply email back to the confirmation email you received from GMI at the time of your registration.
When does registration close for an event?

Online registration for all GMI events closes two weeks before the event, on the closest Sunday (so, approximately 12-14 days before the start of that event), at 12:00 AM midnight.

Can I make installment payments?

GMI does not offer making installment payments or a payment plan for events. Please note that payment in full is required at the time of registration.

Can I transfer or give away my registration?

No. You are not allowed to transfer, give, or otherwise designate your registration to someone else.

If you cannot attend an event and need to cancel, you can start a new conversation with us, or send a reply email back to the confirmation email you received from GMI at the time of your registration.

Are allotments still being used?

As of January 2024, allotments are no longer being used for any GMI events.

Allotments were set up (for major GMI events) for each of the GMI churches, based on the current number of men and women with active membership status in that local church.

Using this calculated method, each GMI church received a “reserved block” of spots for these events.  This ensured that men and women from each local church had equal opportunity to sign up for events and enjoy fellowship with others from around the GMI network.
